The Institute for Leadership Studies (ILS) hosts Salman Rushdie, award-winning British-Indian novelist, essayist and author of “The Satanic Verses.” Rushdi will introduce his new book, “Joseph Anton: A Memoir,” in Angelico Concert Hall at 7 p.m. Tickets are $35 (includes signed copy of the book) and can be purchased by calling 415-927-0960, extension 1, or by visiting bookpassage.com. Women’s Volleyball – Conlan Center, 7 p.m.

Dominican plays University of Hawaii-Hilo in the Conlan Center at 7 p.m.. Admission is $5, $2 for seniors and children ages 6-13.
