SAN RAFAEL, Calif. — Your favorite go-to burger joint may be taking a new direction. The family owned In-N-Out burger restaurant chain, founded in 1948 in Baldwin Park, California has a new owner. The founder’s granddaughter, Lynsi Torres inherited the chain after the death of her grandmother, Esther Snyder in 1999. She currently has half ownership of the business, but will be given full control when she turns 35. The chain currently has several interested investors hoping that the restaurant chain will be sold by Torres when she gains full ownership in 2017.  In the meantime enjoy your double doubles and strawberry shakes at a favorite In-N-Out location of Dominican students at 789 Redwood Highway, Mill Valley  from 10 a.m. to 12 a.m.
