Local composer Ron McFarland to unveil world premier at Angelico, March 3

In the fourth installment of the Dominican University of California’s Guest Concert Series, a unique quartet will take the stage of Angelico Concert Hall  Sunday, March 3 at 3 p.m.The program includes pieces by Schumann, Bruch, and Glinka but is remarkable in that it also includes a world premier of composition by Ron McFarland of Tiburon, California. The piece was commissioned by Dominican.The concert is free to students under the age of 18, community college students, music and art teachers, and Dominican faculty, staff, and students with valid I.D.

Single-event tickets are only available at the door 30 minutes prior to scheduled performances. Admission is $18 for general and $15 for seniors over 60.
