Men’s basketball team headed to the postseason!

SAN RAFAEL, Calif. — The Dominican University of California men’s basketball team is headed to the postseason! In such a short period of time, Coach Booker T. Harris has transformed the Penguins into a playoff contending team. With an 87-84 win last week, Tuesday, Feb. 19, against Academy of Art University in San Francisco, the team clinched a playoff berth with a couple of games still left in the regular season.

This tournament is also the inaugural Pacific West Conference Basketball Championships since the conference made recent changes. The PacWest Championships will be played at the Felix Event Center in Azusa, CA, home of the Azusa Pacific Cougars. The tournament runs from March 7 to March 9. The regular season is still in progress and game times for the postseason will reflect upon the team’s seed.

Tickets will be sold at the box office prior to each game. Ticket packages are also available such as a three-day pass for $35 and a one-day pass for $15. Discounted prices are also available for seniors, children, college students and military personnel.
